Wireless digital transmission module X607


The X607 is a wireless transmission module that uses the ISM band or the national metering band operating frequencies; it adopts customised communication frequencies and its chip SX1278 adopts the "LoRa" direct sequence spreading technology, which surpasses existing GFSK modules in terms of stability, interference resistance and reception sensitivity. The module operates in the 410-510MHz frequency band, without changing any data or protocol of the user, and adopts a half-duplex transparent transmission mechanism to achieve the function of wireless substitution, lowering the threshold of wireless applications. It has the advantage of concentrated power density, long transmission distance and strong anti-interference capability. The LORA direct sequence spread spectrum technology will bring even longer distances. The module has a software FEC forward error correction algorithm, which has high coding efficiency and strong error correction capability, and can actively correct the interfered packets in case of sudden interference, greatly improving reliability and transmission distance. In the absence of FEC, such packets can only be discarded. The module has data encryption and compression capabilities. The data transmitted by the module over the air, which is random in nature, is rendered meaningless by tight encryption and decryption algorithms that make data interception meaningless. The data compression function has the potential to reduce transmission times and reduce the probability of interference, increasing reliability and transmission efficiency. The module can operate from 2.3 - 5.5V to meet battery power requirements. The module has four operating modes, which can be switched freely during operation. In power saving mode, the current consumption is only a few tens of uA, making it ideal for ultra-low power applications.

    Caution:

    1. wireless module SLE is the hardware hibernation console, when it is overhung or high level, the module is in normal working state, when it is low level, the module is in hibernation state. 2.
    2. Wireless module CH is the channel switching console, when the CH pin is overhanging or high, the module channel is in factory default, when the low level is triggered, it enters the channel state, triggering this pin channel (1~8) can be cyclically switched, CH pin is long pressed for more than 3 seconds, the channel restores the factory default state 5 channels. The module needs to be in standby mode when the channel is switched (not recommended when working normally). 3.
    3. When the USB port of the laptop is connected to the module, it is necessary to use the USB to TTL/RS232/RS485 module in order to communicate.   
    4. Desktop computers basically come with their own COM terminal, the standard is the RS232 interface, and the RS232 interface module can be connected directly, if the interface is TTL/RS485 then it needs to be converted to the appropriate level in order to communicate.

     

    Product working modes

    Description of the module normal operation indicator

    The wireless data transmission module has 2 LEDs, the red light flashes twice when power is applied; the red light is on when transmitting data and the green light is on when receiving data

    Hibernation mode of operation of the module

    1. Conventional mode

    In a normal operating state, the user device just sends data to the serial port of the module, and the module can send data to the air normally. It can also receive data over the air and output it to the serial port with an operating current of <30mA.

    2. Serial port sleep mode

    When data is received on the serial port of the module, the module is able to send and receive data normally. It can also receive data over the air and output to the serial port. The operating current is <16mA

    3. Hardware hibernation mode

    The module cannot send data or receive data over the air when the SLE pin is suspended or high, if you want to send and receive data, enable the SLE to be low and switch to the regular module. When enabled the 10MS module will receive the module. The operating current is <1uA.

    4. Air hibernation mode

    The SLE pin is left open or high, the module has to be in wake-up/sleep operation, the duty cycle time can be set at the request of the customer.
